Fabio graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Babson College.

He commenced his professional journey in New York City, gaining valuable experience at Nomura Securities International Investment Banking within the Consumer & Retail and Debt Capital Markets desks. Following this, Fabio briefly contributed to Fitch Ratings’ Latin America Corporate Finance team before redirecting his focus toward real estate and hospitality.

Transitioning to Selina, a digital nomad hotel chain, Fabio assumed the role of Real Estate Director and Project Manager. His responsibilities included spearheading the expansion of the Selina brand into new markets by identifying, analyzing, underwriting, and negotiating new opportunities. Beginning with assisting in the expansion in Mexico, he was later tasked with establishing the company and opening new markets in the Southern Cone.

In 2018, Fabio joined Dakia Global Enterprise LLC as the Investment & Finance Director, being one of the initial three employees. He played a key role in negotiating a Joint Venture Agreement with Universal Music Group (“UMG”) and a Licensing Agreement for UMG’s intellectual property in hospitality (hotels) concepts. His responsibilities extended to directing underwritings and analyses of the JV partnership and other emerging investment opportunities. In 2021, he transitioned full-time to the Joint Venture, UMusic Hotels, as the VP, Finance & Feasibility. In this role, Fabio established a full financial department across three continents from inception.

In addition to his responsibilities at Red Group, Fabio currently serves as a partner in Coral Reef Investment Properties, a commercial real estate firm focusing on multi-use and multi-family real estate developments in North Carolina.
