David graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University with a degree in Political Science and Markets & Management. He also studied at Universidad de Belgrano in Argentina and Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain.
At Duke, David was a member of the Financial Aid Student Advisory Council, which served as a representative for the student body in the University’s campaign to raise $400 million towards its endowment for financial aid.
After graduating, he spent several years on Wall Street in Sales & Trading of Structured Credit Derivatives with a focus on Collateral Loan Obligations (CLOs). In 2011, David left his Wall Street job to become a serial entrepreneur and now wields more than a decade of varied business experience from food trucks, to music festivals, restaurants, bars, start-ups, property management, development, and brokerage.
Since 2013 he has been focused on his real estate brokerages Grand & Co. in Brooklyn and Hudson Modern Co. in the greater Hudson Valley, as well as various real estate projects around the country, in particular in NYC, New Orleans, and Miami. David also owns and operates Black Flamingo Disco & Taco in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
He currently resides between Brooklyn and Miami.
